On August 2, 2025, Thanh Do Construction Group Joint Stock Company (Thanh Do Group) and Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint Stock Company (SCID) solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Sense City Festi Vinh Long Shopping Mall. This is a key strategic project that will contribute to a new landscape for Vinh Long Province in the near future, with the grand opening expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Sense City Festi Vinh Long is a signature component of the Gateway City project, located at 168 Tan Vinh Thuan, Tan Ngai Ward, Vinh Long Province. The project boasts a strategic location at the gateway to the new administrative center, a vital commercial hub between the two arterial bridges, My Thuan 1 and 2, and adjacent to the Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho Expressway. Sense City Festi Vinh Long – Gateway City offers not only seamless connectivity but also rare “Feng Shui” advantages overlooking the Co Chien River. Gateway City is a convergence of premium amenities, including a complex of single-detached villas, semi-detached villas, and shophouses, alongside a 5-star marina, a festival square, a clubhouse, and a floating market that recreates the authentic soul of the Mekong Delta.
Sense City Festi Vinh Long features a total construction floor area across two phases of up to 40,000 $m^2$, with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders from local Departments and Agencies, partners, customers, and the leadership teams of Thanh Do Group and SCID.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien – Vice Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized: “This is a strategically significant project that aligns with the province’s socio-economic development orientation. It promises to create a powerful breakthrough for the trade, service, and tourism sectors, contributing to the transformation of Vinh Long’s urban landscape in the near future.”
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that Thành Đô Group concentrate all financial resources, manpower, and construction equipment to ensure the project is implemented on schedule in accordance with the approved investment policy, particularly the deadline for completion and commissioning. The company must prioritize construction quality, occupational safety, and environmental protection above all. He also urged the provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities to take a proactive role, provide guidance, and consistently accompany Thành Đô Group throughout the project implementation; to create favorable conditions and streamline administrative procedures, thereby ensuring a transparent and open investment environment so that the project can be carried out on time, effectively, and operate sustainably.
